Ryan is an Equity Partner in the Healthcare practice area and represents US-, UK- and Bermuda-based insurers and reinsurers. He serves as monitoring and coverage counsel across all lines of the healthcare and life sciences business, including hospitals, physicians, surgical and rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, allied health professionals, pharmaceuticals, medical device product liability, clinical risk E&O and billing E&O. On behalf of his clients, Ryan handles high-value and complex matters, where millions of dollars are often at stake. Ryan also drafts insurance policy wordings/endorsements, evaluates claims management guidelines, performs reinsurance audits and provides bad faith opinions. 

While Ryan is best known for his work in the healthcare market, he brings the same program management, risk assessment and skill to a wide variety of disciplines. In addition to healthcare, Ryan handles construction defect, general liability, workers’ compensation, transportation and other types of casualty losses throughout the country. Ryan focuses on efficiency in achieving the best possible outcome for his client. 

Ryan is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
