Peggy brings over twenty-five years’ worth of experience in the insurance and commercial dispute fields. Peggy has a concentration in advising clients with respect to data security and privacy risks, consumer class action litigation, intellectual property disputes, and media/social media issues. She has provided counsel with respect to a broad range of risk and loss control issues including policy drafting, insurance program development; regulatory/compliance advice; dispute resolution, including trials, appeals, and arbitration/mediation settings; and, analysis of claims and loss processing controls on an organizational level.
She also has defended clients in premises and product liability matters; litigated large, complex insurance coverage and reinsurance coverage disputes; and, represented international reinsurers in response to a variety of long-tail toxic tort claims. As a Manager in the Claims Consulting Group of Ernst & Young’s Actuarial Practice, Peggy worked for Fortune 500 Companies, self-insured, insurer, and reinsurer clients. She contributes to professional publications and has presented at continuing education conferences including those sponsored by PLUS, HRH Willis, and American Conference Institute. Peggy is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and a Member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, as well as being a member of the American Bar Association and PLUS.
