Manpreet Kaur

Profile

Manpreet is an Associate in the Professional Liability department at Mendes and Mount. She earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2023 and completed undergraduate studies at St. John’s University in 2019. Prior to joining Mendes & Mount, Ms. Kaur served as coverage and monitoring counsel for many domestic and foreign insurers. She has experience in all aspects of insurance coverage including coverage risk management, policy underwriting, and claims handling. Ms. Kaur also has experience representing municipalities in all areas of civil litigation, including employment discrimination, civil rights, and education law.

During her time in law school, Ms. Kaur served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Sylvia O. Hinds-Radix, associate justice of the Appellate Division, Supreme Court of the State of New York, Second Judicial Department, where she was involved in appellate matters spanning a wide range of practice areas and across many industries. Ms. Kaur is currently admitted to the New York State Bar.
