Avery Burke is an Associate in the Litigation Department at Mendes & Mount. Prior to joining Mendes, she previously worked as an associate at a national defense firm, where she focused on complex mass-tort bankruptcy matters and related litigation. Avery earned her law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School and completed her undergraduate studies at Tulane University. During law school, Avery was an editor on Notre Dame Law’s Journal of International and Comparative Law and competed as a member of the Moot Court Trial Team. In 2022, Avery interned for Justice Melissa Hart at the Colorado Supreme Court.
Avery is currently admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York
