John’s specialty is in litigation and aviation. He holds a degree in Aeronautics and is a licensed pilot. He began his legal career working with FAA’s Regional Counsel’s office.
John’s aviation experience spans three decades and ranges from general aviation to major airline disasters. His clients have included major air carriers, aircraft and aircraft component manufacturers, aircraft repair and overhaul facilities and providers, ground service equipment manufacturers and operators, charter operators, air taxi operators, military and other government contractors. John has handled cases involving various types of aircraft including general aviation, commercial, military, rotorcraft, recreational and experimental aircraft.
In addition to local and national civil litigation, John also has assisted clients through FAA, NTSB and other Federal and State Administrative matters, including incident and accident investigations.
Outside of the aviation arena, John has handled a broad range of litigation matters including construction matters, labor law disputes, commercial disputes, contract disputes, personal injury matters, assisted living care and nursing care matters, a wide variety of product liability and wrongful death matters and asbestos exposure (aviation and non-aviation) matters. He has also handled cases in state and federal courts throughout the United States and Canada.
